LAST UPDATE - 5/31/05. One of my favorite
lines from the last few years is the Muppets by
Palisades. I am a completist with this line,
which for me means one of every unique figure at
least. I also have a complete set packaged,
and pretty much a complete set open, and also have
a number of the package variations, like blue box
and red box Kitchen set. I also have a number of
pre-production items from this line, and if you're
looking for more info on them, check
here.
Like I said, I have what I consider a complete
collection, but there is one figure I still may
hunt up - the second version of Adventure
Kermit. The problem is that I'm extremely
color blind, so picking out the difference in pant
color between version one and two is pretty much
impossible on my own. The difference between
one and three was much more obvious, and so I have
them packed away. Oh and yes, that also means I
have all the lunch box figures that Toyfare
offered. Yes, when it comes to a line that
I'm a completist on, I get very weird. Here's a
shot of the main four shelves.
Above those shelves, much higher on the wall, is
a single shelf that's also all Muppets. This
shelf helps with the oversized megas.
On the left side of this shelf, there's the very
cool wedding set. I've added a second shot of
that set, since it's one of my favorite sets in the
whole collection.

On the right side of the shelf, there's nothing
too exciting, just lots of regular Muppets.
There are a number of Rizzo's though, including a
pre-production version with the whiskers attached
differently.
The top shelf of the main bookcase has both the
Backstage playset, along with the Kitchen playset.
The second shelf has all the
Fozzie's, Gonzo's and the Pigs in Space set.
The packaged Gonzo in back is one of the planned
Target exclusives. When the deal fell through
with Target, the Gonzo was used as a show
exclusive. But they did package a handful of
Gonzo's to show to Target, and I've added a second
shot of it because it's another of my favorite
items.

Next up is the Lab and the Electric
Mayhem, with all the corresponding characters plus
some.

And
finally, the bottom shelf has a hodge podge of
figures, including both Holiday Kermits, the Toy
Fair Rowlf, and my packaged Swedish Chef. Why
do I have a packaged Swedish Chef out on the
shelf? What's so special about him? The
last photo will answer that question!

And that's the Muppets, at least for
today! I have a couple things that still need
to hit the shelf, like the checkered Gonzo from the
Collector's Club tins, but I'll do my best to keep
the page updated.
Somehow I managed to forget my
entire display of all the Sideshow mini-busts in my
last update, so here goes:
