Updated 7/13/06:  Mezco produced a really nifty pair of figures based on their take of the classic tale of Captain Nemo.  The figures were sculpted by the incomparable Sandy Collora (of Batman Dead End fame), and the following are the two ups for the line.  First up is Wave Rider Nemo, complete with weapon.

The next shot gives you some idea of scale.  The two up is around 16" tall.

Next is a series of photos showing the amazing detail work on this two up.  It's one of the most impressive pre-production items I currently own:

As you'll recall, there was a second Nemo in this line, and here's that two-up as well:

Again, it's hard to explain just how cool and huge these things are in person! To go along with the Wave Rider Nemo, I also picked up the two-up of the Wave Rider itself.  Talk about monstrous!

To give you some idea, here's the Wave Rider and Nemo two ups with the quarter scale Lord of Darkness figure from SOTA.

The detail on something like this is incredible.

There's also a wave base that the Wave Rider fits down inside:

All of this is solid resin, and very, very heavy.  In some of the photos you'll notice I also included the regular sized test shot pre-production Wave Rider for size comparison.  Here it is on it's own:

And to complete the uber-cool display, I know have almost all of the Cabin Control Nemo accessories/pieces in two ups as well.  Here's the 'basket' with scrolls:

I've added the 6" Batman in the photos for scale.  Here's the pipe, treasure chest, goblet, spy glass, and huge table.  There's also a bell shaped doo dad that I don't remember...:

The amount of detail and color on the chest in the two up scale (sixth scale approximately) is really impressive:

Here's the two books, sitting on the large chair:

Largest of the accessories is the ladder and spear:

There's a number of items that attached to the walls and floor, but I don't have those (and suspect they no longer exist).  I'll have to come up with something nifty to attach these to eventually, but here is the control stand, some sort of microphone device that attached to the wall, and the octopus sextant:

In the set itself, each sword came with a sheath.  In the two up versions, they sculpted a sheathed version of the weapon, plus an unsheathed one.  Here's the sheathed version of the sword in CC Nemo's hands in the photo above, plust two of the smaller knife:

And here's the final sword, sheathed and unsheathed.  Just to be clear, the sheathed versions are sculpted that way, and are not removable:

Here's a second two up of the wave rider Nemo weapon, along with another piece of the set that attached to the back wall:

And finally, here's the two sections of pipe that held the steering wheel to the back and floor of the set.  Batman is standing under the one pipe, holding it up on his back:

Here's a photo from my review of the set, for reference:

Along with the two ups, I have some of the hard copies of the figures.  This is the CC Nemo body:

...and here are hard copies in 1:1 scale to the 6" line of both head sculpts:
